When creating an appointment internally, there is a selection to connect the appointment to the correct staff/optometrist. Choosing the staff member prior to saving the appointment will remove the appointment slot from the staff member's
online schedule.
If you are seeing that patients are able to submit a request if a slot is already taken, you'll want to double check to ensure that the correct staff member has been selected in the appointment.
