This article outlines the steps to use the AI Scribe feature for transcribing patient information in the anterior and posterior segments.
Key Steps
1. Verify Microphone Activation 0:13
- Ensure your microphone is activated in your browser settings.
- Check for the blue microphone icon in the browser's search bar.
2. Start the recording
- Click the Transcribe button prior to dictating findings.
- You can use the AI scribe two ways:
- Speak to the patient as if you are conducting an examination. The system will transcribe your spoken words into the appropriate fields.
- Example: "Alright, let's take a look at the front of your eye. Looking at your lens, I see cortical cataracts in both eyes."
- Dictate findings clearly and concisely. The system will transcribe these findings automatically.
- Example: "PVD in the vitreous of both eyes, CD ratio, 0.3 for the right eye, and 0.35 for the left eye."
- Speak to the patient as if you are conducting an examination. The system will transcribe your spoken words into the appropriate fields.
- You can speak in different languages; the system will transcribe into English.
- Example: Speaking in Spanish will result in English transcription.
Troubleshooting Tips
- If the AI Scribe is stuck at processing, check microphone permissions.
- Look for the blue microphone icon in the browser's search bar.
- If you need to enable microphone access:
- Go to your browser's settings.
- Search for 'microphone' and ensure access is enabled.
