Troubleshooting and FAQ
How can I tell if the Barti App is working
- The green icon on the desktop should spin when files are being sent to Barti
Should I choose Delete after import when setting up a new folder?
- Yes that helps keep your folders clean and removes what has already been uploaded to Barti.
How to access Barti Desktop Application Log
- The application keeps track of everything that is happening in a log file that is automatically shared with Barti every 8 hours.
- The log file is stored under the installation directory C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\BartiMachineIntegration\BartiMachineIntegration
Do I need to set up the Barti App on every PC ?
- Yes if your devices are set to drop files to those PCs local folders.
Can I connect the Barti App with Network folders?
- Yes you can .
- Note : If all devices in different exam rooms currently send their files to one network folder it may be a good idea to work with your vendor representative to change to Device/Room specific network folders. Having separate names like Exam Rm 1 , 2 etc makes it easier to find the right file for the exam when importing them.
What if the Barti App us not recognizing the printout
- Confirm that the file path is correct
- Navigate to the file path on the computer
- If a file output is already there, delete the file
- Reprint from the device to confirm that a new file is being created.
- If the Barti Machine Integration Application is working properly, you will see a file created and then disappear (If you have enabled delete after import)
- If a file is created, but not picked up by the Barti Machine Integration Application, delete the file and try again
- (For Topcon) If that does not work, restart the device
- If it still does not get picked up, delete the file, restart the device, restart the computer, open the Barti App, and retry.
