Objective
This article outlines the steps to create, edit, and view patient-to-patient relationships within the Barti system.
Key Steps
1. Navigate to Patient Profile 0:18
- Search for the patient's name in the "Patients" tab or in the global search.
2. Create a New Relationship 0:30
- In the patient profile, scroll down to Relationships.
- Click New Relationship.
- Indicate the related patient by searching their name.
- Indicate the relationship type (e.g., parent, sibling).
- If selecting Other as a relationship type, enter the specific relationship in the free text option.
- Click Create New Relationship.
3. View Relationship Details 1:20
- Scroll to the bottom of the patient's profile to view the established relationships. The system will display the relationship directionally on the patient's profile.
4. Edit or Delete a Relationship 1:30
- Click on the three dots next to the relationship entry.
- Select Edit to change the relationship type or Delete to remove it.
5. Set Guarantor/Guarantee Relationship (Optional)
- Under Relationships, click Add Guarantor.
- The billing guarantor will be able to make payment on invoices on behalf of the guarantee.
6. Collecting Payment(s)
- From the Guarantor's account, you will be able to collect payment across family member invoices.
