In this article, you will learn how to schedule additional appointment reminder messages outside of your default automated reminders.
1. Create a Message Template
- Navigate to Communication Templates.
- Create a template for the message you want to send (e.g., 7-day reminder, cancellation policy).
2. Add a Reminder to the Appointment
- Create or open the patient appointment.
- Click the More Options menu.
- Click Add Reminder.
- Select your message template.
- Choose the date and time to send the message.
- Click Save Changes.
- Confirm the scheduled message appears on the appointment.
