This article reviews how to reset appointment reminders.

Appointment Reminder Defaults

Appointment reminders will be activated by default with Barti's default message text.

• Appointment reminder from [PRACTICE NAME]: We look forward to seeing you on [APPOINTMENT DATE] at [APPOINTMENT TIME]! If you need to reschedule or cancel, reply or call our office [OFFICE PHONE NUMBER]

Resetting Appointment Reminder

Appointment reminders will be automatically reset and be removed from the appointment after the following actions.

1. If an appointment date is changed
2. If an appointment time is changed

You can also manually remove and reset an appointment reminder by doing the following

1. Open a patient's appointment
2. Click on the trash can to remove an appointment reminder
3. Click on "Add Appointment Reminders" to re-add reminders to the appointment. If the appointment is between 1-3 days, the patient can receive a 1 day reminder. If the appointment is more than 3 days away, the patient can receive both a 1 and a 3 day reminder.
