The Appointment Schedule view allows you to filter and view appointments by status, date range, provider, insurance, and more. You can also update appointment statuses directly from this view.
Navigating to the Appointment Schedule
- Navigate to Appointments in the main menu
- Select Schedule in the submenu
Filtering by Status
- Click the All Statuses dropdown in the filter bar
- Check one or more statuses to filter by:
- Unconfirmed
- Confirmed
- Checked In
- In Progress
- Complete
- No Show
- Canceled
- The table updates automatically to show only matching appointments
You can select multiple statuses at once — for example, "Checked In" and "In Progress" to see all active patients.
Additional Filters

| Date Range | Use the date range picker to set a start and end date |
| Patient Name | Type in the search box to filter by patient name |
| Event Type | Select one or more appointment types (e.g. Comprehensive Exam, Contact Lens) |
| Insurance Network | Filter by insurance plan, or select "No Insurance" to see uninsured patients |
| Staff / Provider | Filter by one or more providers |
Use Clear Filters to reset all filters at once.
Updating a Patient's Status Inline
You can change an appointment's status directly from the schedule view without opening the appointment:
- Locate the appointment row
- Click the status dropdown in the Status column
- Select the new status — it saves immediately
Sorting and Printing
- Click any column header to sort the list by that column
- Click the Print button to export the current view (all active filters are applied to the printout)
