The Allow Internal Appointment Scheduling setting controls whether a user appears as a scheduling option for internal appointments. Admins can manage this setting for each user from Organization Settings.
Enable or Disable a User's Scheduling Access
- Go to Organization Settings > Staff Members
- Click anywhere on the user's row to open the Edit Staff Member modal
- Locate the Allow Internal Appointment Scheduling checkbox
- Check or uncheck as needed
- Click Update Staff Member
Changes take effect immediately.
- Checked — The user can be selected in the provider dropdown when creating internal appointments
- Unchecked — The user will not appear as a scheduling option for internal appointments
❗ Important: If the user has upcoming appointments, Barti will display a warning before saving the change. Existing appointments are not removed.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does unchecking this affect the user's ability to log in? No. The user can still log in and use Barti normally. This setting only affects whether they appear as a scheduling option.
Does this affect existing appointments? No. Existing appointments are not removed. The user simply won't appear as an option for new bookings going forward.
When do changes take effect? Changes take effect immediately after saving.
Where did this setting move from? This setting was previously managed by each user individually in their own Account Settings. It is now controlled by admins in Organization Settings, so your team's scheduling access is managed centrally.
