Who this is for: Barti administrators.
Before you start, you'll need:
Admin access to Barti's inventory settings
A VisionWeb account connected to your organization
Steps
Navigate to Billing → Inventory → VisionWeb.
Link your products:
To link a single item: click the row for a VisionWeb product, then search for and select a matching item from your Barti inventory.
To bulk-link multiple items: click the checkbox on each VisionWeb product row you want to link (use search to filter the list, which also enables the Select All checkbox), then click Link Products to open the Link Product dialog.
What you'll see when it works
Once items are linked, a glasses order's VisionWeb dropdowns are restricted to only the linked items. See How do I create an optical order in Barti? to place a glasses order, and How do I generate an invoice from an optical order in Barti? once you're ready to invoice it.
Troubleshooting
What happens to orders in Draft status from before I linked my inventory?
Orders created before linking inventory items aren't affected.
What happens if a product in a glasses order isn't linked to VisionWeb?
Once any items have been linked, only linked items appear in that dropdown on the order.
What if I want to order an unlinked item?
You can't select it in the order until it's linked. An item must be linked to your Barti inventory before it can be used in an order.
